Security Policy

Encryption of Information Transmissions

This site has obtained a Secure Server ID from VeriSign, and employs the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption method.

When highly sensitive information, such as personal information, is exchanged between a forum member’s computer and this site, it is encrypted using SSL. Web pages that have URLs beginning with “https://” are protected by SSL. The “s” on the end of the “http” usually displayed by the browser signifies that the site is protected by SSL. Pages using frames, however, do not include the “s” even if SSL is being used. SSL security minimizes the risk of information entered into this site by forum members being read by third parties. It also ensures that the information is sent to the intended recipient.
